Your expert A question about this product?

You'll want an oxblood jumper boot the first winter you see one on someone else. A deep, wine-dark red that works with gray, navy, charcoal, and denim the way black does, then adds the character black can't; it reads serious in low light and comes alive in the sun, and makes a charcoal overcoat look deliberate. Few men dare it on a winter boot, which is exactly why it lands: it signals taste, not risk. A clean laced profile, a slight lift, a structured build. The upper is top-grade European calfskin, the oxblood built up by hand — burnished deeper at the toe and heel so it glows and shifts instead of sitting flat. Underneath, the Preston takes the 675 last — almond toe, comfortable fit. Made by our artisans in a workshop in Almansa, Goodyear welted, one pair at a time. A full leather sole keeps it refined.

A handcrafted boot, high-grade leather, hand-burnished oxblood — the no-brainer for the man who wants his winter footwear to do something beyond keeping warm. Under gray or charcoal it lifts the whole outfit above the expected.

Black is the safe winter boot. Oxblood is the one you chose.

Size & Fit

This model fits true to UK/US standard sizing, so simply order what you usually wear in dress shoes or the size that appears most in your shoe closet.

To compare your foot measurements, open the Size Guide in the size selector above.

If the fit isn’t right the first time around, exchange for a different size is free and easy!

Our standard D width fits most feet. If your feet feel a little wide, go half a size up in D. If you know they are genuinely wide, order your usual size in EE: it adds 9 mm (0.35") of girth for extra room and comfort. EE pairs also come with a free set of insoles, so you can fine-tune the fit with complete confidence.

When in doubt, order the same size you usually wear in dress shoes.

The 675 Last

Toe shape: Almond · Fit: Roomy · Sizing: True to size

The shoe reads balanced, clean, and classically European. The almond toe is generous — there is real volume in the toe box, well-formed and slightly domed — but it resolves into an elegant roundness that never becomes aggressive or pointed.

Compared to the 722, the 675 has more body: the foot breathes, the toes settle with natural ease. Compared to a round-toe last, it still has definition — the toe has its own character. The result is a shoe that looks serious without effort, with harmonious proportions that work with a suit, chinos, or even dark denim.

The English last in its most balanced form: presence without drama, elegance without posturing.

Jumper Boot

A jumper boot is a laced boot with a clean profile and a serious sole, built for the months when a dress shoe stops being enough.

Its upper stays smooth and uncluttered so the boot still reads correct under a trouser; the sole underneath adds height, grip and a bit of weight. That combination is the entire idea — refined enough for the office, sturdy enough for wet stone and cold streets.

Wear it with flannel, tweed or dark denim from October onward.

Ours is the Preston, Goodyear welted on the 675 last, on leather or on a commando sole that adds close to an inch.

Dainite Sole

A Dainite sole is a studded rubber sole, and the most discreet way to make a dress shoe all-weather. The studs sit proud of the sole so water and grit clear instead of packing in, which is why it grips wet ground without the bulk or the noise of a lugged sole.

Seen from the side it is barely deeper than leather, so the shoe still reads formal — the practicality is on the bottom, where nobody is looking.

Choose it for a shoe that has to cross a wet car park at eight and still belong in the room at nine.
