The Adelaide is a black Adelaide Oxford — the dress shoe whose detail is built into its bones. An Adelaide takes the closed lacing of a classic Oxford and frames it: the facing is stitched in a curved line that follows the lacing and sweeps back toward the heel, a structural flourish that reads more refined than a plain cap toe and far more deliberate. The upper is top-grade European calfskin, finished smooth for a deep, even black shine. It's built on the 358 last, with extra room across the forefoot for a superior fit. Made by our artisans in a workshop in Almansa, Goodyear welted by hand. A full leather sole keeps it at its dressiest.
