Norwegian Brown Derby - 722

The Norwegian is a brown split-toe Derby — the most versatile color with a hand-sewn detail to set it apart. Open lacing, the raised split-toe seam running up the center of the vamp, in a warm mid-brown that goes everywhere a dress shoe should. The upper is top-grade European calfskin, the brown built up by hand: burnished deeper at the toe and heel so the color shifts between chestnut and tobacco as the light moves, and the central seam catches that same movement. It's built on the 722 last — long and lean with a slight chisel toe. Made by our artisans in a workshop in Almansa, Goodyear welted one pair at a time. A full leather sole keeps it dressy.

Put it under gray or navy and it reads considered; put it under chinos and it reads easy. The brown that covers the most occasions, with a detail that makes it the one people look at twice.
