The Norwegian is made in a workshop in Almansa, Goodyear welted by our artisans, one pair at a time. Beneath the leather sits a discreet high-density rubber half-sole: grip on wet ground, a longer-lasting sole, the warm look and central seam intact.

The chisel toe draws an almost horizontal line at the front of the shoe — it doesn't end in a point or a curve, but in a clean, straight edge that gives a very modern and deliberate silhouette. A split toe derby is defined by the raised seam running down the center of the toe, dividing the vamp in two.
It is a shoe with a handmade look built into its shape: the seam catches light, breaks up the front of the foot and gives the silhouette an edge that a plain toe never has. Open lacing keeps it easy to wear.

A half-rubber sole is a leather sole with a thin, high-density rubber half-sole set into the forepart — the half that meets the pavement first and wears out first.
From the side it is still a leather sole, so the shoe keeps the slim profile and the dress-shoe line; underfoot it grips on wet stone and lasts appreciably longer between resoles.
