A dark brown chukka boot is the one that keeps a blazer honest when the weather turns. Two eyelets, a clean ankle-height profile, a near-black brown hand-burnished at the toe and heel so the color moves under the light. The leather is top-grade European box calf; the 675 last gives it an almond toe and a fit with room in it. Every Chukka is made by our artisans in a workshop in Almansa, Goodyear welted, one pair at a time. Below the welt sits a Dainite rubber sole, made in England, a sole that built its reputation on wet streets: real grip on cold stone, and a wearing surface that takes years to give up.
Charcoal, navy, grey flannel, dark denim: dark brown goes everywhere black goes and arrives warmer. On this sole it arrives dry as well, which is the whole point of putting it here — an autumn and winter boot that never has to dress down for the season.
The winter boot that still knows how to behave.
