Norwegian Tobacco Derby - 722

The Norwegian is a tobacco split-toe Derby — the richest color with the most characterful detail. Open lacing, the raised split-toe seam up the center of the vamp, in a deep golden amber-brown. The upper is top-grade European calfskin, the tobacco built up by hand: burnished deeper at the toe and heel so it moves between amber and chestnut as the light shifts, the central seam picking up the same depth. It's built on the 722 last — long and lean with a slight chisel toe, the sleekest line in the range. Made by our artisans in a workshop in Almansa, Goodyear welted one pair at a time. A full leather sole keeps it dressy.

Put it under autumn tailoring and it reads as though the shoe was designed for the clothes. The split-toe gives it character; the tobacco gives it depth — the dress shoe people ask about when they notice it.
