The Alex is a tobacco longwing Derby on the sharp 722 last, here on a sole built for the season. Long, lean, a slight chisel toe; open laces, full wingtip, broguing along the seams, in a deep golden amber-brown hand-burnished at the toe and heel for warmth and movement. Made in a workshop in Almansa, Goodyear welted by our artisans, one pair at a time. Beneath the leather sits a discreet high-density rubber half-sole: grip gained, a longer-lasting sole, the character untouched.
