The Martin is a dark brown saddle Oxford with a modern edge. Closed lacing, a saddle panel across the instep, a near-black brown; and on the 722 last it runs long and lean with a chisel toe. The upper is top-grade European calfskin, the dark brown burnished by hand at the toe and heel for depth and tonal movement. What sets this version apart is the 722 last: the sleekest line in the range, sharper and more modern than the rounder 675. Made by our artisans in a workshop in Almansa, Goodyear welted by hand. A full leather sole keeps it dressed.
