The Francis is a tobacco double monk strap on the sharp 722 last, here on a sole built for the season. Two buckles, a clean closed throat, a deep amber-brown hand-burnished at the toe and heel for warmth and movement, running long and lean. Made in a workshop in Almansa, Goodyear welted by our artisans, one pair at a time. Beneath the leather sits a discreet high-density rubber half-sole: grip on wet ground, a longer-lasting sole, the rich color intact.
