Vincent Museum Oxblood Patina - 722

A Museum Oxblood patina wholecut Oxford takes the boldest combinable color a man can own and builds it entirely by hand. Start with crust leather in its natural state, then layer the oxblood on by hand — a wine-dark red worked deeper at the toe and heel so it shifts between burgundy and near-black as the light moves, with a depth a printed color never has. The Vincent is one seamless piece, nothing to interrupt the surface: the patina plays across the entire shoe, no seam breaking it. Built on the 722 last, long and lean with a slight chisel toe. Goodyear welted by our artisans, one pair at a time, in a workshop in Almansa, on a full leather sole. No two pairs come out the same.

It works with gray, navy, charcoal, and denim the way black does, then adds the character black can't — and the hand-laid patina means the man wearing it owns the only one exactly like it. For the man who has stopped buying what everyone else is wearing.
