A black split toe boot is what you wear when the boot should have something to find. The upper is Alcazar leather, a black calfskin with a distinctive woven-look grain that catches the light and adds texture beside the central seam. Here the Daniel is built on the 357 last, a square chisel-toe with extra room at the ball of the foot. Beneath it sits a Vibram Eton sole: a refined lugged rubber with discreet grip and a low, clean profile, so the boot stays sharp while handling real ground. Made by our artisans in a workshop in Almansa, Goodyear welted, one pair at a time.

The shoe reads architectural and self-assured. The square chisel toe is the most pronounced in the catalog — flat and defined, with a horizontal cut that projects deliberate intent. It isn't aggressive, but it doesn't apologize either: this is the shoe of a man who made a conscious decision not to be conventional.
Comfort at the ball of the foot is notably superior to older lasts — there is real space where the foot needs it most. Shares the exact same body, volume, and fit as the 358, but with more drama at the toe.
A split toe boot carries a raised seam straight down the center of the toe, and on the Daniel that seam is sewn by hand — one of the few places left in a modern shoe where a hand does the job better than a machine.
It gives the front of the boot a ridge that catches light and a look that is rugged and refined at the same time.
