The Adelaide is a cognac Adelaide Oxford in Italian Museum calfskin from Ilcea — the refined Adelaide framing, in the famous Museum Calf, whose finish is made at the tannery, not printed on. At the Ilcea tannery, dyes are layered onto the wet hide so the cognac glows between amber and copper and shifts with the light, the curved Adelaide facing catching it across the upper, no two pieces the same. It's built on the 358 last, with extra room across the forefoot for a superior fit. Made by our artisans in a workshop in Almansa, Goodyear welted by hand. A full leather sole keeps it dressy.

Put it under a navy suit or pale linen and the warm Museum cognac lifts the whole outfit; the Adelaide line gives it intent, the leather gives it depth. Your friends won't find this at Nordstrom.
