The Thomas is a black tassel loafer — the slip-on with something to say. A pair of leather tassels across the vamp, a clean upper, no laces: dressy enough for a suit, relaxed enough for everything else. The upper is top-grade European calfskin, finished smooth for an even black shine. It sits on the 675 last — an almond toe with a roomier fit — so the shoe settles onto the foot and stays easy through the long day. Made by our artisans in a workshop in Almansa, Goodyear welted one pair at a time. A full leather sole keeps it at its dressiest.
