The Ashford is a cognac cap-toe Oxford — warmth, sharpened to a point. Clean closed lacing, one seam across the toe, a warm reddish tan given a modern, deliberate line. The upper is top-grade European calfskin, the cognac laid on by hand and burnished deeper at the toe and heel for glow and tonal movement. What sets this version apart is the 722 last: long, clean, a slight chisel toe — the sleekest line in the range, where the light catches the burnish and the chisel both. Made by our artisans in a workshop in Almansa, Goodyear welted by hand. A full leather sole holds it at its dressiest.
Put it under a navy or gray suit and the warmth arrives precisely. The 675 is the comfortable cognac; this is the deliberate one — a warm color on a sharp last, the combination that rewards the eye.
