Your expert A question about this product?

You'll reach for a black chukka boot without thinking, and this sole means never checking the sky first. Two eyelets, a clean ankle-height line, deep box-calf black on the 675 last. Top-grade European calfskin, finished smooth. Every Chukka is made in a workshop in Almansa, Goodyear welted by our artisans, one pair at a time. Beneath the leather sits a discreet high-density rubber half-sole: grip on wet pavement, a sole that wears slower, the slim look intact.

Wear it with a suit or with denim, in any forecast. The black Chukka you reach for without thinking, now ready for any ground.

The easy boot, made for any weather.

Size & Fit

This model fits true to UK/US standard sizing, so simply order what you usually wear in dress shoes or the size that appears most in your shoe closet.

To compare your foot measurements, open the Size Guide in the size selector above.

If the fit isn’t right the first time around, exchange for a different size is free and easy!

Our standard D width fits most feet. If your feet feel a little wide, go half a size up in D. If you know they are genuinely wide, order your usual size in EE: it adds 9 mm (0.35") of girth for extra room and comfort. EE pairs also come with a free set of insoles, so you can fine-tune the fit with complete confidence.

When in doubt, order the same size you usually wear in dress shoes.

The 675 Last

Toe shape: Almond · Fit: Roomy · Sizing: True to size

The shoe reads balanced, clean, and classically European. The almond toe is generous — there is real volume in the toe box, well-formed and slightly domed — but it resolves into an elegant roundness that never becomes aggressive or pointed.

Compared to the 722, the 675 has more body: the foot breathes, the toes settle with natural ease. Compared to a round-toe last, it still has definition — the toe has its own character. The result is a shoe that looks serious without effort, with harmonious proportions that work with a suit, chinos, or even dark denim.

The English last in its most balanced form: presence without drama, elegance without posturing.

Chukka Black 675

Chukka Boot

Two eyelets, an ankle-high shaft, open lacing, nothing more.

A chukka boot is the least complicated boot in the range and, for a lot of men, the most useful — light enough to wear from March to November, closed enough to look intentional with a jacket. Polo gave it the name; the desert gave it the reputation.

It sits exactly between a derby and a proper boot, which is why it works with chinos on a Friday and with a suit on a cold Tuesday.

Ours are built in European calfskin and English suede, on soles that run from leather to lugged rubber depending on how hard you plan to wear them.

Half Rubber Sole

A half-rubber sole is a leather sole with a thin, high-density rubber half-sole set into the forepart — the half that meets the pavement first and wears out first.

From the side it is still a leather sole, so the shoe keeps the slim profile and the dress-shoe line; underfoot it grips on wet stone and lasts appreciably longer between resoles.

It is the answer to the most common question we get: how do I wear these to the office when the walk from the train is ten blocks in the rain. If you own one dress shoe and it has to work every day, this is the finish to pick.
