Near-black brown is the serious color, and a dark brown Derby on the 722 gives it a modern line. Open lacing, a smooth upper, a near-black brown; and on the 722 last it runs long and lean with a chisel toe. The upper is top-grade European calfskin, the dark brown burnished at the toe and heel for tonal depth. What sets this version apart is the 722 last: the sleekest line in the range, sharper and more modern than the rounder 675. The Marco is made by our artisans in a workshop in Almansa, Goodyear welted, one pair at a time. A full leather sole keeps it dressed.
Put it under charcoal or navy and the dark brown reads as a choice: the warmth of brown, the sharpness of the 722's line, the ease of open lacing, all arriving together.
Dark, sharp, and intentional — the dress Derby for the man who thinks about these things.
