The Francis is a black double monk strap built for all-day comfort — light, easy, and quietly refined. Two buckles, no laces, a clean closed throat, in Alcazar leather: a calfskin with a distinctive woven-look grain that catches the light across the vamp and gives the shoe texture and depth. What defines this version is the build: the 357 last, a square chisel-toe with extra room at the ball of the foot, on an ultra-light sole engineered for sneaker-level comfort under the look of a dress shoe. Made by our artisans in a workshop in Almansa.

The shoe reads architectural and self-assured. The square chisel toe is the most pronounced in the catalog — flat and defined, with a horizontal cut that projects deliberate intent. It isn't aggressive, but it doesn't apologize either: this is the shoe of a man who made a conscious decision not to be conventional.
Comfort at the ball of the foot is notably superior to older lasts — there is real space where the foot needs it most. Shares the exact same body, volume, and fit as the 358, but with more drama at the toe.
A Vibram Morflex sole is ultra-light EVA rubber, and it is the lightest thing we put under a shoe.
Pick the pair up and the weight is closer to a sneaker than to a welted dress shoe — the sole absorbs the impact of a hard floor instead of transmitting it, which is what makes it the one to wear on a day spent standing, walking or travelling.
