You'll wear a brown full brogue Oxford to more places than a black one, and the commando sole covers all of them. Closed lacing, a full wingtip, brogued perforations along every seam, in a warm mid-brown that sits with gray, navy, and tan. The upper is top-grade European calfskin, the brown built up by hand: burnished deeper at the toe and heel so the color shifts between chestnut and tobacco as the light moves, the broguing catching it across every panel. Every Arthur is made by our artisans in a workshop in Almansa, Goodyear welted, one pair at a time. Beneath it sits a deep-lugged commando sole: real traction, a confident stance, a touch more height.

Put it under tweed, gray flannel, or denim and the broguing and the warm color do the work. The most ornate Oxford, in the color that goes everywhere, on the sole that follows it there.
