Louvre is a contemporary last featuring a handsome soft square toe. It is Cobbler Union's longest and arguably most elegant last. All shoes made on Louvre are handcrafted with an exquisite fiddleback beveled waist sole accentuating the last's spectacular silhouette
Louvre is preferred by men who like "pointier" longer shoes with a French flair. Our two most iconic shoes on this last are Miquel (wholecut) and Noah.

CITY LAST

City is a contemporary round toe last. It is similar in length to Louvre. All shoes made on City are handcrafted with an exquisite fiddleback beveled waist sole accentuating the last's elongated silhouette.
City is preferred by men who like a longer round toe classic look. Currently, we use this last on the best-selling Richard and William collections.

City is a D (medium) width last that fits true to size. Due to its round toe shape, City is a very versatile last that can accommodate narrow, medium and wide feet.

Soho is a classic boot last featuring an wonderful round toe. It is shorter and well balanced last which gives boots a refined and dressy look.
Soho is preferred by elegant men who like to wear boots with dress trousers or suits. We use this last on the Renoir, Louis, Chukka and Guillaume collections.

Soho is a D (medium) width last that fits true to size. However, due to the last's tapering at the toe, we recommend you size up a half a size if your foot is slightly wide (E or EE).

We use 312 on several English countryside-inspired shoes and boots, including Alex uR as well as the John and George boots.
