The Thomas is a cognac tassel loafer — the shoe for the man who wants warmth at the floor. Leather tassels across the vamp, an almond toe, no laces, in a reddish-tan calfskin that catches the light and keeps it. On a tassel loafer, a warm color and a characterful detail arrive together. The upper is top-grade European calfskin, the cognac built up by hand: burnished deeper at the toe and heel so it glows between amber and copper in the light. The tassels are cut from the same leather and swing with the same warmth. It sits on the 675 last. Made by our artisans in a workshop in Almansa, Goodyear welted by hand. A full leather sole keeps it dressy.
