The D'Annonay dark brown is hand-burnished: built up deeper at the toe and heel so the colour shifts rather than sitting flat, across the single continuous plane of the upper. No seam to interrupt it; just the tonal movement of a well-finished dark brown calf from a tannery that has been making leather this way for generations.
