The Smith is an oxblood penny loafer on the sharp 722 last, here on a sole built for real days. The boldest combinable color in the range — a deep wine-dark red that works with gray, navy, and denim like black does, with character black can't — burnished by hand so it glows and shifts. Long and lean with a slight chisel toe. Made in a workshop in Almansa, Goodyear welted by our artisans, one pair at a time. Beneath the leather sits a discreet high-density rubber half-sole: grip on wet ground, a longer-lasting sole, the character intact.
