The Daniel is a dark brown split toe boot — the hand-sewn detail in the color that behaves like black. Closed lacing, a raised split-toe seam running up the center of the vamp, in Alcazar leather: a near-black brown calfskin with a distinctive woven-look grain that gives the color depth beside the central seam. It's built on the 357 last, a square chisel-toe with extra room at the ball of the foot. Beneath it sits a Vibram Eton sole: a refined lugged rubber with discreet grip and a low, clean profile. Made by our artisans in a workshop in Almansa, Goodyear welted by hand.
Put it under charcoal, navy, or denim and the split-toe seam and the textured leather do the work. A boot with character at the vamp and sure footing below.
