The Miquel is a black wholecut Oxford built from one piece of leather — full-grain calfskin from the Weinheimer tannery, seamless, no break in the line from heel to toe. The Weinheimer tannery in Germany produces some of the finest calfskin in Europe — a full-grain black with a depth and consistency that shows on a seamless upper, where there is nowhere for the leather to hide. It's built on the Louvre last: a soft-square toe that tapers in a way no other last in the range does, with a generous fit that holds the line all day. Made by our artisans in a workshop in Almansa, Goodyear welted by hand. A full leather sole holds it at its dressiest.

The most minimal formal shoe, built from the leather the construction deserves. For the boardroom, for the black-tie table, for the man who knows that the most considered shoe is often the quietest one.
