The Thomas is an oxblood tassel loafer — and oxblood is the boldest combinable color a man can own. A deep, wine-dark red that reads serious in low light and comes alive in the sun, it works with gray, navy, charcoal, and denim the way black does, then adds the character black can't. On a tassel loafer it's more than brown and less than a scene. Few men dare it, which is the point: it signals taste, not risk. The upper is top-grade European calfskin, the oxblood built up by hand: burnished deeper at the toe and heel so it glows and shifts instead of sitting flat. The tassels catch the same wine-dark warmth. It sits on the 675 last. Made by our artisans in a workshop in Almansa, Goodyear welted by hand. A full leather sole keeps it dressy.
