The Martin is a black saddle Oxford — the formal shoe with something to look at. Closed lacing, and a shaped saddle panel across the instep that gives the shoe a distinct structure and a quiet character the plain versions don't have: the benchmark formal silhouette with one detail that earns a second glance. The upper is top-grade European calfskin, finished smooth for an even black shine. It's built on the 675 last — an almond toe with a comfortable, roomier fit. Made by our artisans in a workshop in Almansa, Goodyear welted one pair at a time. A full leather sole keeps it in the formal register.

Under a dark suit it reads correct with character; under gray or navy tailoring the saddle earns its presence — enough to distinguish the shoe from a plain cap toe without drawing attention to the effort.
