Arthur Black Full Brogue Oxford - 675

The Arthur is a black full brogue Oxford — the most decorated dress shoe a man can own, built on a sole that takes it anywhere. Closed lacing, a wingtip that sweeps the full length of the shoe, and brogued perforations punched along every seam: the full brogue is ornament done properly, a shoe with more to look at than any plain Oxford. The upper is top-grade European calfskin, finished smooth for a deep black shine. It's built on the 675 last — an almond toe with a comfortable, slightly deeper fit. Made by our artisans in a workshop in Almansa, Goodyear welted one pair at a time. Beneath it sits a deep-lugged commando sole: real traction on wet stone and cold pavement, a confident stance, and a touch more height.

Put it under tweed or heavy wool and the broguing reads as country-house tradition; put it under denim and it carries the whole look. The most ornate Oxford, on the most capable sole — formal detail, all-weather footing.
