The Smith is an oxblood penny loafer — the boldest combinable color in the range, here on a sole built for real days. A deep wine-dark red, burnished by hand at the toe and heel so it glows and shifts rather than lying flat; it works with gray, navy, and denim like black does, with character black can't. The 675 last — almond toe, comfortable fit. Made in a workshop in Almansa, Goodyear welted by hand. Beneath the leather sits a discreet high-density rubber half-sole: grip on wet ground, a longer-lasting sole, the character intact.
