Your expert A question about this product?

The Moc Boot is a brown moc-toe boot — the most versatile color on the most characterful boot. Laced through metal eyelets, in a warm mid-brown that sits with denim, wool, and everything in between. The upper is top-grade European calfskin, the brown built up by hand: burnished deeper at the toe and heel so the color shifts between chestnut and tobacco as the light moves. It's built on the 722 last — long and lean with a slight chisel toe. Made by our artisans in a workshop in Almansa, Goodyear welted one pair at a time. A full leather sole keeps it dressy.

The 722 Last

Toe shape: Chisel · Fit: Snug · Sizing: True to size

The shoe reads long, stretched, and sharp. The chisel toe draws an almost horizontal line at the front of the shoe — it doesn't end in a point or a curve, but in a clean, straight edge that gives a very modern and deliberate silhouette. From the instep to the floor, the last communicates intent: this is a shoe that wants to be noticed.

The lateral profile is low and taut. There is no volume in the toe box — the last tapers gradually toward the front without inflating the cap. The result is a shoe that looks even slimmer than it measures, with that visual elongation that makes the foot appear longer and more elegant.

Ideal if you're looking for presence without excess: a shoe that enters the room before you do.

Moc Boot Brown 722

Moc Toe Boot

A moc toe boot takes its shape from the moccasin: a rounded, raised toe that follows the foot instead of tapering away from it.

Softer at the front than a plain toe, roomier where toes actually sit, and casual in a way no amount of polish will undo — which is exactly why you buy one.

This is a cold-weather boot with a workwear accent, best worn with denim, corduroy or heavy chino and a coat that takes the same weather.

Ours is built on the 722 last in European calfskin, Goodyear welted, and set on a commando sole for grip and height.

Commando Sole

A commando sole is a chunky, deep-lugged rubber sole, and it changes the character of the shoe on purpose. The lugs bite into snow, mud and wet leaves the way no dress sole can, and the extra thickness adds close to an inch of height and a deliberate, planted stance.

It is the most rugged finish we offer and the one that survives a real winter without being babied.

Pair it with the heavier leathers and suedes and it reads confident rather than formal — a shoe for cold mornings, gravel drives and the months when the weather decides what you wear.
