The Ashford is an oxblood cap-toe Oxford — and oxblood is the boldest combinable color a man can own. A deep, wine-dark red that reads serious in low light and comes alive in the sun, it works with gray, navy, charcoal, and denim the way black does, then adds character black can't. Few men dare it, which is exactly why it lands: it signals taste, not risk. The upper is top-grade European calfskin, and the oxblood is built up by hand — an artisan burnishing the color deeper at the toe and heel so it glows and shifts instead of sitting flat. That hand-laid depth is the whole point of the color. Built on the 675 last — almond toe, roomier fit. Made by our artisans in a workshop in Almansa, Goodyear welted by hand. A full leather sole finishes it at its dressiest.
