Cognac Calf Norwegian Split Toe Shoe

The Norwegian is a cognac split-toe Derby in top-grade European calfskin — the warm version of a shoe defined by its hand-sewn detail. Open lacing, and the split-toe seam running up the center of the vamp: a raised, hand-stitched line that takes real skill to execute cleanly and gives the shoe a character no plain derby carries. The cognac is built up by hand, burnished deeper at the toe and heel so it glows between amber and copper as the light moves, the central seam catching the same warmth. Made by our artisans in a workshop in Almansa, Goodyear welted by hand. A full leather sole keeps it dressy.

Put it under a navy suit and the warm color lifts it; put it under tan or pale linen and the split-toe makes the casual look deliberate. A warm color and a hand-sewn detail, together — the dress shoe that rewards a closer look.
