The Francis is a black double monk strap in the premium line — two buckles, no laces, a clean closed throat, built from a finer leather and finished on a dressier last. The upper is top-grade European calfskin chosen for a close, even grain that holds a deep shine and ages without breaking down. It's built on the Louvre last, a soft-square toe that tapers in a way no other last does — elegant, deliberate, exactly what a double monk wants. Made by our artisans in a workshop in Almansa, Goodyear welted by hand. A full leather sole keeps it at its dressiest.
