The Bennett is a black Chelsea boot — the most effortless way to put real presence on your feet. Elastic side panels, a heel tab, no laces: you pull it on and the day starts. The upper is top-grade European calfskin, a clean box calf that takes a high shine and holds its shape at the ankle. It's built on the 722 last, with a slight chisel toe and a long, modern line — sharper than the usual round-toe boot, which is what keeps the Bennett reading as a dress shoe that happens to rise above the ankle, not a work boot dressed up. Made by hand in a workshop in Almansa and Goodyear welted, with a leather sole at its most refined and construction that takes years of hard wear and a resole when it needs one.
