The Marco is a tobacco Derby — the dress shoe in the richest brown. Open lacing, a smooth upper, a deep golden amber-brown on an almond-toe last with a comfortable fit. The upper is top-grade European calfskin, the tobacco burnished by hand at the toe and heel so the color moves between amber and chestnut as the light shifts. Built on the 675 last. Made by our artisans in a workshop in Almansa, Goodyear welted one pair at a time. A full leather sole keeps it dressed.

Put it under autumn tailoring — charcoal, gray, or brown — and it reads as though the shoe was designed for the clothes. The dress shoe color people ask about when they notice it.
