The Miquel is a black wholecut Oxford in waxed suede — the most minimal silhouette in an unexpected material. One piece of leather, no seam across the upper, in a European waxed suede: a black nap treated to repel water and hold its look through weather that would mark ordinary suede. It's built on the 780 last, a contemporary round toe with the kind of ease that makes a wholecut feel like something you wear on a Saturday. Beneath it, a Gumlite commando sole: a lightweight lugged commando with real grip and traction at a fraction of the usual weight. Made by our artisans in a workshop in Almansa.
