The Renoir is a cognac ankle boot in Italian Museum calfskin from Ilcea — a clean, laced ankle boot in a leather most men never get to own. The Museum cognac is the famous Museum Calf, marbled at the Ilcea tannery where dyes are layered onto the wet hide so no two pieces come out the same, glowing between amber and copper and shifting with the light, a depth flat calf can't imitate. It's built on the 358 last, with extra room across the forefoot for a superior fit. Made by our artisans in a workshop in Almansa, Goodyear welted by hand. Beneath the leather sits a discreet rubber half-sole: grip on wet ground and a sole that wears slower, under a boot this refined.
Put it under denim and it lifts the whole look; put it under gray flannel and the warm Museum cognac does the rest. A laced ankle boot in hand-painted Italian leather — refined where it shows, sure-footed where it counts.
The boot for the man who knows what he's looking at, and knows no one else will.
