Full-grain European calfskin, the oxblood burnished at toe and heel so it glows and shifts in the light. Goodyear welted, structured to resole rather than replace. Beneath it, a leather sole with a discreet high-density rubber half-sole: the wine-dark character stays while you gain grip on wet ground and a longer-lasting sole.
