Full-grain European calfskin, the oxblood built up by hand — burnished deeper at toe and heel so it glows and shifts instead of sitting flat, one boot at a time. Goodyear welted, made to resole and last.

The 722 runs long and lean with a slight chisel toe, sharper than the rounder 675 — refinement up top, ruggedness below. The commando sole is deep-lugged rubber: traction on wet stone, a confident stance, and an extra inch of height over the leather-soled version.
