Deep-lugged rubber under a dress boot: a black Chelsea boot that handles cold pavement without looking like it expects to. Elastic side gores, a low pull tab, an unbroken black silhouette on the sharp 722 last. The upper is top-grade European calfskin, a clean box calf with an even shine. Each Bennett is made by our artisans in a workshop in Almansa, Goodyear welted, one pair at a time. The sole is a chunky lugged commando: deep-lugged rubber for real traction on wet stone and cold pavement, a confident stance, and a touch more height than the leather-soled version.

This is the black Bennett for the months when the leather sole stays home. Sharp on top, rugged underneath — a Chelsea boot that handles the suit and the snow without changing shoes.
