The Alex is a black longwing Derby — and on the 722 last it runs long and lean with a slight chisel toe. Open laces, a full wingtip, broguing along the seams: relaxed construction, sharp silhouette. The upper is top-grade European calfskin, a clean box-calf black with an even shine. What sets this version apart is the 722 last: the sleekest line in the range, sharper and more modern than the rounder 675. Made by our artisans in a workshop in Almansa, Goodyear welted one pair at a time. A full leather sole keeps it dressy.
